Fundraising Campaign Planning Process

Dear faculty,

Over the course of the next year and a half, UCI will embark on a fundraising campaign planning process. We envision the campaign planning phase to be a highly collaborative effort in which engagement from faculty will be key.

In the coming months, University Advancement will hire a campaign director and your dean and/or the development staff at your school/unit will seek your ideas and input as we begin to build a campaign that aligns with the strategic direction of the university.

Also during this planning stage, your dean and/or unit director will have the opportunity to engage with members of the UCI Foundation board of trustees. At the annual UCI Foundation retreat on March 23-24, campus leaders will meet with the trustees to discuss how the foundation can be a partner in supporting the campaign priorities as they are being developed.

This is an exciting time for UCI, and we look forward to working with you and the entire campus community to create a successful campaign.
